As well as a wealth of experience, CETO are a standards-compliant source for steelwork, accredited to EN1090 up to EXC2, our customers can rest assured that all relevant products are CE Marked in the form of a CE label on the completed product and separately issued Declaration of Performance. Our certified structural engineers can also provide project specific calculations when required. In addition to our declared compliance with the harmonised European standard for steelwork, we also carry out our design work with reference to prevailing British Standards and building regulations where relevant.
CE Marking became mandatory on 1 July 2014 for fabricated structural steelwork. EN 1991-1 includes loadings for staircases and as such they are covered by the legal requirements of the Construction Product Regulations 2011. We have gained accreditation as fully compliant with the harmonised EN 1090 standard, demonstrated by our certificate of Factory Production Control which enables CE marking. Further to our obligation from a legal standing, we hope that this certification demonstrates the ethos of corporate social responsibility within our company, and our willingness to develop and maintain our professional relationships with our customers who share the same views.
